PRISONERS SENTENCED. [PKBSB ASSOOIATIOW.] WELLINGTON, April 12. Six prisoners, who bad pleaded guilty in the lower courts, were sentenced' by the Chief Justice to-day. Peter Griffiths, for conspiring to defraud, was sentenced to nine months' imprisonment. Peter Carter, assault and robbery, 12 months; Francis Burke, Thos. Garmody, and Michael Caffirey, theft, ten, six, and four months respectively; Herman Zoller, theft of monies, ten months.
