Basham and unanimously carried. . j Mr Kean proposed and Mr Dale seconded, That the club be known as the Ha- j wera Association Football Club. — Carried. I All present signified their intention of 1 becoming members. . j The election of officers was then pro- j ceeded with, and resulted : President, Rev. ! J. A. Jacob ; Vice-Presidents, Drs Deck | and Westenra, Messrs 0. E. Major, M.H.R., H. C. Clark (Patea), A. B. I Stewart (Nommanby), E. H. Walters (Ka- j karameat, and F. Basham; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr J. Campbell; hon. auditor, ! Mr J. Turton. | It was decided that the committee Should . consist of Sve members, three of whom I should be elected at this meeting, the re- 1 maining two after the club had got start- j led The following were then elected : ! s Messrs F. Edwards, Dale and Kean The sub. was fixed at ss. ' A letter was received from the New Plymouth Club asking that a match lie i arranged for Easter Monday. After discussion it was decided to ask the New Plymouth Club to toy and arrange to come down later in the season. - ' The committee was instructed to draft rules to be submitted to a future meeting on April 23. The committee met after the above meeting and made sundry arrangements with regard to goal posts, etc. It was decided to try and arrange for the ftrsb practice on Easter Monday. Should .such, be arranged it was decided to insert an advertisement in Saturday's Star acquainting members of the fact.
