Preliminary steps were taken to have the classes established on similar lines to thocfc of last year, and it was decided that a draft syllabus for the season be drawn up at once. The committee thought it very desirable in the interests of the district that a dairy class should be estabrirashed. in Hawera, and to 'this end it was resolved that the several local bodies be waited on to ascertain what support they would give either in the matter of techmeal education generally or more particularly for dairying.
