BOWLING TOURNAMENT.
THE DRAWINGS.
A meeting of <he committee was held last evening, and it was reported that all arrangeaients were well forward. After reconsideration of the matter it was decided not \o adopt the time limit, but to make the games 16 heads, rounds to start at 10 a.ir., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. each day. The visitors will be welcomed on the green by the Mayor shortly before 10 a.m. on Friday and the tournament opened. First Round. — Opunake and . Pihama — FiUroy; New Plymouth — Manaia; Eltham — Stratfoid; Hawera a bye. Second Round. — Manaia — Stratford ; Eltliam— Hawera ; Fitzroy— New Plymouth; Opunake and Pihama a bye. Third Round. — New Plymouth — Eltham ; Opunake and Pihama — Stratford ; Manaia —Hawera; Fitzioy 'a bye. Fourth Round. — Opunake and Pi'hama^ — Hawera; Manaia-- Eltham ; Fitzroy — Stratford; New Plymouth a bye Fifth Rjound. — Xew Plymouth,—&(rat- | ford; Fitzroy— Hawera ; Opunake and Pi ham a — Eltham ; Manaia a bye. Sixth Round. — Fitzroy— Manaia ; Opunake and Pihama — New Plymouth ; Stratford—Hawera; Eltham a bye. , Seventh Round.— rNew Plymouth — Hawera; Fitzroy — Eltham ; Opunake and Pihama— Manaia ; Stratford a bye. Weather permitting -it is expected to play three rounds on Friday; three on Saturday; one on Monday, and either play off ties (if any) or a game North v. South, or such other combination as may be decided.
