Cox's question if the Government intend to coirfahue the prohibition of contractors supplying foreign frozen mutton to the army Mr Haldane said he was of opinion that quality and price should alone be considered. I Replying to Mr R. Laidlaw, Mr Asquith , promised to consider the claims of the British investors in the colonies for special relief if and when it was possible to remit income tax, but ac a* present advised it was uiot clear that the incidence was un-
