','ERDICT OF THE CORONER'S JURY

The jury in the Mills case returned a verdict of accidental death, adding a rider that though the method of construction of the shelter pit did not cause death it wae faulty, and the Ta-nge should not be used again until provided with better appliances, and that all ranges -should be inspected and have better means of communication with the marker than in this ca6e. Funds are being raised foT the widow and orphans.
