LONDON, Novembervß. Captain Scott (who recently returned from au exploring expedition to the Antarctic regions in the ship Discovery} delivered a lecture on the Antarctic in the Albert Hall, London. Bir Clement Markham, president of th Royal Geographical Society, presented Captain Scott with the Society's special gold medal, and handed silver medals to the officers and men who took part in the expedition, Mr ChoAte, .United States Ambaasador to Great Britain, presented Captain Scott with the Philadelphia Geographical Society's gold medal. Sir Clement Markham also presented Captain Colbeck, of the relief ship Morning, with a piece of plate.
