Button, who was a New Zealand sheep owner, was mad to leave £11,000 to Dowie, returned A verdict in favor of his relations. JDowies intends to appeal. INVERCARGILL, October 3. The solicitors acting for the relatives have received a cable from Chicago stating that a verdict has been given in favor of the Buttons, in a case against Dowie, of Zion City, to set aside a will made in his favor by Frederick Button, late of Thornburn (Southland). The amount involved is about £10,000. Sutton was a successful farmer in the Western district, but was eccentric and : wont to Chicago a few months before his death.
The ground of action was alleged undue influence.
