Marks, editor-in-chief and proprietor of the Financial News, is nominated as a Conservative candidate for the vacancy of the Isle Thanet Divis.on of Kent, and King by the Liberals. The latter's nomination is signed by several Conservatives who object to Marks record in law Courts in connection with frh' Hooley and Whitaker Wright cases.
