ENTHUSIASTIC RECEPTION AT GREYMOUTH.
[rJUCM ASSOCIATION.] GREYMOUTH, September 28, The Right Hon. R. J. Section and party arrived* in town this evening, and receir* ed an enthusiastic welcome at the railway station. A crowd thronged the streets and station, cheering the Premier. Mr Seddon had a pleasant trip across the I ranges, and looks well. He was entertained impromptu at the Royal Hotel by County Councillors and the Mayor and Councillors. The Mayor welcomed bin and expressed pleasure at his arivel. m vi S » ddon Tec * iv °* » deputalien of Blackball miners, asking for the completion of the bridge to enable them to ret work. • Mr Seddon stated that if the bridge approaches were completed that would only give temporary work. The real cause of the slackness of work was a shortage of orders. He promised the deputation that ho would enquire fully into the matter.
