THE CATHEDRAL CHORISTERS.

The programme of musical and varied items announced by the above combination will be presented at the Opera House tonight. There has been a large amount of interest displayed in this event, and many have looked forward to the opportunity of hearing this very select company. "The singing of the Cathedral Choristers," writes a critic in a southern paper, "aroused the audience to the highest pitch of enthusiasm. It was indeed refreshing to get back to the old. English glees and melodies, which were sung with remarkable sweetness and harmony. The blending of the voices in the Irish home song, 'Terry,' was admirable. The soprano voices arc an important and pleasing feature, and in the solo work of Masters Arthur Batchelor and Harry Hcaney, ease and grace were a noticeable feature, which marked the artists, and it is little wonder that encores were demanded in everj instance, and they deserved them." The Choristers are an entertainment in themselves, but in addition there are Miss Alice Lay ton (soprano)', Mr Geo. Warsaw (basso), Mr Leslie Warton (coon melodist), and Kellmann the Magician. The company present a most novel and unique entertainment, and a rare opportunity of enjoying an evening of music, mirth, and mystery. Box plan at Messrs Cole and Donnelly's.
