' The public of Hawera and district will be afforded the opportunity of witnessing the first performance of the American Thea'trescope, which has created a furore wherever it lias been shown. The company appear here on Wednesday next, me Dunedin Star, Lyttelton Times, and Wellington Post say it certainly .marks an advance on anything seen. The minutest details of the subjects depicted are clearly brought out. Among the subjects to be dealt with will be a Mexican bull fight occupying 1000 feet of films, the battle of Cnemulpho Bay— Russo-Japanese warbeing very realistic, the Martinique calamity, showing Mont Pelee in eruption and 'the destruction of St. Pierre, the yacht race for the America Cup between Shamrock 111. and Reliance, the Bluebeard pantomime as played at Drurv Lane Theatre, London, occupying 1400 feet of film, showing all the gorgeous pantomime as it is played in the largest theatre m the world.
