CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 24. The final of the Christchurch Go Club's championship was won by" Trewee* from Harman. Treweek was two up n« the end of the first round, but at th-thirty-second hole Harman was two up and four to play, 'me score was ai square at the thirty-sixth hole. Thi thirty-seventh and thirty-eighth were halved, and Treweek won the thirtyninia and the match. GISBORNE, September 26. The golf malch nawke's Bay v. Poverty Bay resulted in a win for the latter by 0 to 3, out of nine games played. The weather was fine and the ground in good ordeK. , , ... , The local team also won the ladies match.
