CHRISTCHURCtf, Sept. 21. At the Addington market the entry was 1 moderate in all classes, but the at- - tendance of buyers was good. I Fat Cattle. — 132 were yarded, and , prices rose fully Is 6d per 1001b. Steers £7 17s 6d to £10 10s, and few extra prime £11 to £13; heifers, prime £8 10s 1 to £11 12s 6d. others £6 12s 6d to £8 6s; oows. £6 2s 6d to £10 2s 6d, equal to 27s od per 1001b, for extra prime 24s to 25*. prime 21s to 225. Fat Sheep.— The supply was small, comprising mainly crossbred and half-bred wethers Competition was keen, and prices improved, chiefly owing to extra quality sheep. Prices were :— Wethers, pri.ne 24s to 29s 9d, others fels to 23s 6d ; prime ewes 22s 6d to 26s 9d, others 16s '10d to 20s; merino wethers, extra prime 24s lOd to 27s 3d. urime 21s to 23s 6d, 'others 17s Id to 20s 6d; about 30 new season's fat lambs were yarded, the best making 17s 6d to 21s, others 12s 6d to 16s. Baconers made 45s to 60s. equal, to 4d to 4|d per lb; porkers, 32s to 40s, equal to 3d to 6|d; large stores 25s to 28s. medium 17s to 245; weaners 8s to 12s 6d.
