DUNEDIN STOCK SALES
DUNEDIN, September 21. Fat Cattle.— l 72 head were yarded, chiefly well finished bullocks and a few pyime oows, the remainder being medium to inferior steers and heifers. Last week's prices were well maintained. Best bulfocks £11 to £11 17s 6d, good £10 2s 6d, modium £8 10s. Best oows and heifers £9, medium £7 2s 6d to £7 10s, light «»d inferior £6 to £5 12s 6d. Fat &neep. — 2065 penned, all wethers, th« greater proportion being extra heavy. Prices were well up to last week, hardening Somewhat towards the finish. Best wethers 26s to 275, a few pens extra 295, irood 22s 6d to 245, medium 20s to 225, infarior 18s yd to 19s 6d. Fat Lambs. — 21. yarded, and met with (rood 1 demand. Bast 18s 6d to 20s, inferior Us to 13s 6d. Pigs.— 2oß yarded, of which the ma- ] jority were suckers and slips, but porkers were also well represented. Prices for suckers and slips were on a par with last wefek's values, but porkers and baconers weire decidedly easier. -Suckers 9« 6d to 12s 6d, slips 14s 6d t0.16s 6d, stores 17s , to 21s, porkers 26s to A6s, baconers 44s to '645, choppers up to 60s.
