At the 1 opening of the Commercial an:l •Warehousemen's Club, which has cost £1000, the Mayor quoted some interesting statistics indicating the progress of >,he town during the past decade. Increases ware as follows :— -Savings Bank deposits £163 520, postaj revenue £17,044, telegrams 179,681, Customs revenue 300 per cent. The Borough revenue was £16,325. and the capital value of property in the Borough £<*OOjOOO. , .
