DUNEDIN, June 9. At tbe Old Age Pensions Court to-day a question was raised on an application for renewal of a pension as to whether a life iottrtet in property constituted ownership. Mr Carew, 8.M., dcoided that the new regulation upon which the reg : strar propostd to act was ttltaa vires, and oon* trary to the provisions of the Act itself.
