London, August 18. In reply to English criticism, the Transvaal Political Association declares its chief object is to support Lord Milner, and bring the British and Dutch together to co-operate in evolving a united nation.
Capetown, August 18. The repatriation of Boers in districts recently annexed in Natal is progressing. Five hundred have enlisted for the border police for the new territory. Beceived August 18, 11.12 p.m.
London, August 18. Stamped rifles under the 10s license are being issued to fit and proper persons in the Transvaal ; 200 rounds of ammunition are allowed to each. Tbe sale of arms to unlicensed persons is prohibited.
