SOUTH AUSTRALIAN FINANCE.
Adelaide, August 15. The Budget shows a deficit of L 289.000, which will be met by an issue of Treasury bills. The Treasurer is not charmed with Federation. He said now that the glamour was over, they were beginning to ask whether the step was not too hastily taken. If a vote were taken now, eight out of tea would cay "No." The Federal Tariff bad been framed without consideration of South Australia.
