FIRST DAY. (PER FRBSS ASSOCIATION.) Tbentham, February 27. The weather was unfavourable for good shooting, as it was raining the whole time. The first range of the Nelson match, 200 yds, seven shots, was completed this afternoon. It does not count for the belt. W. Ballinger, Petone; King, Oamaru; Irvine, Wairoea; Lnvery, Cbristchurch ; Anderßon, Wanganui; Domigan, Gore; and Jeffery, Nelson, made 28 each. Searles, Caversham; Sherratt, Auckland ; , Cullen, Napier; Nelson, Woodville ; Harding, Blenheim ; Mole, Napier ; and Witton, : Mauricfeville, made 27 eaoh. SECOND DAY. Trbntham, February 28. This morning the shooting began at I 8 o'clock. The weather was fine and < bright, and the wind tricky. « The competitors number 308. I Okey (Taranaki) and J. Stevenson (Waimate) each made the possible at 500. NELSON MATCH.
