Dunbdin, February 25.
Frederick Harley, sent up for sentence for theft of a ring, was admitted to probation for twelve months on payment of £2 12s, cost of the prosecution.
Ah Fat, aged 73, pleaded guilty to the theft of luggage, and was sentenced to six monthb' imprisonment.
Dunedin, February 25.
At the Supreme Court, Henry Gardiner was found guilty of assaulting a Crimean veteran, and was admitted to probation for two years on paying eight guineas towards expenses. John Spence and William Quin pleaded guilty to a charge of assault, and were ordered to come up for sentence when called upon.
