(PBB PRESS ASSOCIATION). . Auckland, February 25. Replying to a deputation which urged the early completion of tbe Main Trunk Railway, Sir J. G. Ward said the Trunk railway would be completed within the time to which the Government was pledged. What he bad seen during bis tour convinced him more than ever of the necessity that existed for that line being pushed ahead vigorously. He hoped also to see tbe Waipara-Bienheim line completed, and a faßt ferry service across Cook Straits.
