ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION.

London, February 28,
Lieut. William Oolbeck commands the Antarctic relief ship Morning, and Sir Clement Markham has appealed to the city of London to assist in the vessel's equipment. Twenty thousand pounds is required, of which sum Waleß has subscribed fifty and the Goldsmith's Company five hundred.
NIGERIA.
Sir Frederick Lugard, High Commissioner in Northern Nigeria, is sending an expedition under Colonel Morland to divert the trade from Eano to the Nigeria, also to enquire info the circumstances which led to Fadlallah, son of Rabab, being killed by the French at Bornu. Fadlallah, in June of last year, fled from the French into British territory.
