ZEALANDIA FAIR.
The bazaar promoted by the ladies of the Catholic Church will commence this evening, in the Opera House. During to-day the _ ladies and friends were very busy getting the stalls erected and displaying a large amount of useful and ornamental work to the best advantage. There is a very large quantity of goods, the bulk of which are valuable, and if trade is brisk, which we think t\ 111 be the case, the financial results of the bazawc will be handsome. The formal opening ceremony will be performed by Mr F. McGuire, M.H.B. Among the many side attractions, the fancy dances are expected to prove a great draw. The young ladies taking part have been in steady practice under tbe able tuition if Miss Sullivan, of Wellington, and the pretty dances will be enhanced by limelight effects.
