WITHOUT FOOD.

London, February 16. Earthquakes destroyed Shemakha, a town in the trans-Caucasias. Two hundred bodies have already been dug out of the ruins, and hundreds more have perished. Twenty-five thousand inhabitants are without food or shelter. The shocks constantly recur.
