OPUNAKE.

Mr J. McKenzie, the newly appointed Commissioner of Crown Lands at New Plymouth, was in Opunake on Wednesday, in company with Messrs Skeet and Barron. Mr McKenzie is taking a preliminary run through the district. The party left this morning for New Plymouth, via Eltham road. February 13.
