Donedin, February 12. In tbe betting prosecutions, Judge Williams decided in regard to a witness* refusal to give evidence to incriminate himself, that the circumstance did not weaken the other evidence. In the cases against Grant there was sufficient evidence to establish a prima facie case, which Grant left unanswered.
