FIRE.
' (per pbess association.) Wellington, February 10. A fire occurred to-night in D. Benjanain and Compfiny's warehouse on Jervois quay. The top storey was damaged by fire, and the other storeys by water. The loss has not yet been estimated.
Wellington, February 11. The damage by fire to Benjamin's warehouse was confined to the upper floor, but the stock suffered a good deal from water. Insurances — Stock, ;£9500; building, J64900; electrical installation and fittings, £1150.
