At Hawera Green on Friday, Haughey beat Scolon by 25 to 4.
Manaia Club has arranged to play Hawera on Friday next, and as the green is in good order there should be a satisfactory game.
It is hoped that New Plymouth and Stratford Clubs will pay Hawera a visit soon. On the other hand, Hawera owes several return visits, and will endeavour to get rinks away at an early date.
