NEW SOUTH WALES v. VICTORIA.
Received January 27, 10.16 p.m. Sydney, January 27. Rain fell in the early morning. The wicket was sticky. Victoria in their first innings made 152— Wormll 24, Layer 27, McCormack (not out) 33.
Kermode took 4 wickets for 49 runs, Mcßeth 3 for 39, Clarke 2 for 14, Cotter 0 for 10, Hopkins 0 for 81. New South Wales in their second innings have lost five wickets for 116— Gregory 27, Farquhar 40.
ENGLISH TEAM v. COUNTRY PLAYERS.
Melbouene, January 27. The Englishmen declared their innings closed at six wickets for 377. The country team were all out for 116. In the follow-on six wickets fell for 141.
