The infant son of John Anderson, of Macetown, was accidentally shot yesterday, at Hanson's farmhouse, Frankton, "through a playmate firing off a pea rifle while Anderson was in bed playing. The shot entered the spine, and the child lived only half an hour. Neil Tennant, eldest son of the Presby terian clergyman at Port Chalmers, was drowned in the Wakatu.
