Dunedin, January 22. Fat cattle— Prices ruling were about 10s better than last week, prime beef realising 26s to 27s per lOOlba ; best bullocks, £9 10s to Lll ss; medium, L 8 to L 9 ss; others, L 4)L 4 ) 10s to L 7 17s 6d ; heavy cowp, L7toL 8 2s 6d ; medium, L 5 15s to L 6 17s 6d ; others, L 4 to L 5 10s. Fat sheep— Prices showed a decline of about Is per head. Best crossbred wethers, 15s 3d to 17s ; medium, 13s 9d to 15s ; inferior, lls to 13s ; best heavy ewes, 13s 6d to 14s 9d ; medium, lls to 13s ; other 3, 8s 6d to 10s 9d. Lambs — Best, lls 3d to 12s 6d ; medium, 9s 6d to 10s 9d ; others, 7a 6d to 9s 3d. Pigs— All met with good competition at last week's rates.
