THE ARIADNE CASE.
MUMFORD SENTENCED TO FOUR YEARS.
(PER FRESS ASSOCIATION.) Christchdrch, January 24. In the Ariadne case, the jury returned a verdict of guilty against Mumford, and not guilty against Kerry. Mr Stringer said that he would not proceed with the other charges. Mumford was sentenced to four years' imprisonment.
