Thames, January 23. Gibbons' Mill, destroyed yesterday, was valued at £5000. The only insurance was £1250 m the North Queensland office. The night watchman was sick, and there was no one on duty. The yard foreman saw the glare, but the fire then bad a good hold. The wind was blowing away from the large timber stacks, and £5000 worth of timber was thus saved.
