Thames, January 23. Gibbons' sawmill waa destroyed by fire. The stock of sawn timber was saved. -

Wellington, January 23. The residence of Mr J. O'Sullivan, defence storekeeper, was gutted by fire early this morning. The building, which is the property of the Government, was unoccupied at the time, the family being away. The contents were uninsured.
