Auckland, January 20. A ch »a» two years, old, named Jobn McCoy, was accidentally drowned in the Tabekeroa Creek, near Helecsville. Greymouth, January 20. Gillingham's body has not been iound. He leaves a family of fifteen cmldren.

Wellington, January 20. The body of a man between fifty and sixty years of age was found floating in the harbour to-night. In a pocket book was found a paper bearing the address "J. G. Brown, Oakburn, St. John, Wallingford, Hawke's Bay."
