Auckland, January 16. Potatoes have been very plentiful, and the price has again declined"
Oata show an unusually bare margin, and the demand has been so good that stocks are almost exhausted. Dunedin advises the price firm at 2s 7d there, and in short supply at that. The local price has advanced one penny. At last a dißtinct advance has been made in flour, the distributors of Eouthern flour having put up the price half-a-erown per ton, which was expected after the difficulty that has been experienced in getting supplies of some of the well-known brands. This has been followed by an advanoe of 10s per ton by one of the local mills.
Onions are very bar* None came from Sydney on Monday, the price having ther advanced 80s per ton.
