DUNEDIN.
Dunedin, January 24.
To • day was almost generally observed as a holiday. In the evening a citizens' memorial service was held. There was a very large attendance. Hymns were sung and a brief address was given by the Rev. P. W. Fairolough, and the proceedings closed by the band playing the Dead March.
