Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co., in conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams, report as to their Johnsonville sale : Fat cattle in rather fewer numbers. Some splendid quality bullocks were yarded. Bidding was moderate only, the prices going last week being barely upheld ; ox beef averaged 21s 6d the lQOlbs, and fat cows and heiferß of good quality and medium weights made 19s to 20s the 1001b. Sheep equal to requirements. Second-rate to inferior quality was difficult to quit, though ultimately sold, but at rather easier rates than last week. Prime quality sold equal to late rates. There were a few pens of very prime quality yarded. A consignment of pips made their value. Prime bullocks made L 9 to LlO 2s 6d; fat cows and heifers, L 6 103 to L(J 12s 6d ; prime fat ewos, 17s 9d to 19s 2d; good ewes, 15s 6d to 16s ; light ewes, 13s lOd to 14s; inferior wethers, 14s; others, 15s ; good wethers, 17a sd ; fat pigs, 20s 3d to 27s 6d ; smaller pork, 18s 9d ; stores, 10s to 15s 3d.
