A young woman named Mary Walker was terribly burned through her clothes catching fire while she was cooking at Courtenay, on Tuesday. She died in the hospital today. The girl's mother was severely burned in extinguishing the flames, "Jesterday afternoon a little boy named Cooper, between four and five years of age, was run over by a tram on the otty and suburban line at Richmond. He received such serious injuries that hi 3 recovery is regarded as hopeless.
