The protest against Kaukapa was upheld in the Dash Handicap, run yesterday, and the dividend of £3 8s was paid on Rosette.
To-day's results were : —
Tradesmen's Hack Handicap—Transvaal 1, Regret 2, Cavalier 3. Only one other started. Div. L 2 11s.
Scurry Hack Handicap— Smithy 1, Mongcnui 2, Bussley Belle 3. These were the only starters. Time, 1.9. Div., £1 15s.
President's Handioap — Ruamahunga 1, Volley 2, Derringcotte 3. Time, 2.30. Div., £1 11s. Rubin and Falka also ran.
Electric Hack Handicap. — Dumdum 1, Rosette 2, Waituru 3. Time, 1.37. Div., L 4 14s. Seal was the only other starter. The race was run in a blinding hailstorm.
Welter Hack Handicap. — Arabi Pasha 1, Forest Oak 2, First Shot 8. Discussion was the only other starter. Time, 2.13. Div., £2 10s.
Stewards' Handicap. — Coin 1, Ruamahunga 2, Kent 3. Time, 1.35 2-5. Div., £6 16s. Rebel, King's Bowman, Wakclyn, and Quiltina also started.
Final Hack Scurry.— Kaema 1, Plaidie 2, Lady Vivian 3. Time, 1.51. Div., JEI6 19s.
