THE CAPE CABLE.
Per Press Association — By Electhio Telegraph — Copyright Received October 2, 1.20 a.m. Melbourne, October 1. The manager of the Eastern Extension Cable Co. states that the Company make no advances to the New South Wales and Victorian Postmasters to reopen the Cape cable negotiations, but are willing to allow the Eastern colonies to subscribe to the agreement accepted by South Australia, and at once reduce the rates.
