(Special to Star.) DUNEDIN, December 14. The Star says on dit that four calls to the Council are intended before Parliament meets, and that Mr Pinkerton (Dunedin), Mr. Louisson (Christchurch), are to be included in the list. (per press association.) Parlett has been committed for trial for shooting the boy Mclvor. WELLINGTON, December 15. The Court of Enquiry into the loss of the Delmira found the casualty had been caused by an inset current and the wind failing. The captain made some allowance for inset, though not enough, but as he would probably have succeeded in saving the vessel but for the wind dropping his certificate was returned, and no order made as to costs. WOODVILLE, December 15. An elderly man named Carl Hausmann died in the police cells during the night. He was arrested at 8 p.m. on the Napier road as a lunatic.
