♦ . (per press association.) SYDNEY, December 18. Detective McHattie and Constable Conroy are passengers by the Miowera. They will arrive in 'Frisco the first week in January, and there await Butler's arrival. December 14. A singular resemblance to the m6untain tragedies occurred some time ago in the murder of two men — one at Bardoe and the other at Menzies, Western Australia. Both were shot and hastily buried.
