PATEA ELECTION.
MR COWERN AT NORMANBY Mr Cowern addressed tbe electors at Normanby on Saturday evening. There was a fair attendance. Mr Sisley occupied the chair. Tbe speaker was well received, and frequently applauded ; aod at the conclusion of his speech several questions were asked and answered. A motion of thariks and confidence was met by an amendment ot tbanks only, and as tbe same difficulty as at Hawera arose as to putting tbe question, eventually tbe audience dispersed before a vote was taken. ____„____>_»_»«»_ Mr J. FermeiiTfiairdresaer and tobacconist, announces in another column that be has removed to new premises next Mrs Dunne's. A few notes on the- building will appear this week.
