MR ROBBINS AT MANGATOKI.
Mr Bobbins addressed a meeting ac tbe Mangatoki schoolroom on Saturday afternoon, Mr Preece being in the chair. There was but a small meeting, but a number of ladies were in attendance. The Chairman accounted for the small attendance on account of tbe day and the hour.
Mr Bobbins tben spoke for an hour o the various political questions, his viev\ h seemingly being in accord with the meeting. After tbe address a number of questions were asked and satisfactory replies given, Tbe meeting desired to pass a vote of thanks and confidence, but at tbe reqaest of the candidate it was confined to tbanks only.
At tbe close tbe whole of the audience, with the exoeption of two, remained behind and passed a vote to pledge themselves to use their best efforts to secure the candidate's return.
