The fancy dress bail to be held tomorrow evening in the Exhibition Boild* ings gives promise of a most Baooessfol result. Anenergetio committee have led nothing undone tbat may add to its success, and it now rests with the pablio to enable tbe intentions of the promoter! to be realised. An enjoyable evening aod assistance to a good object may be secured by a large attendance. The interior of the hall haß been most tastefully decorated, and the fanov dresses to ba worn are eaid to comprise many excellent ' outfits, bo that the bail, from a spectacular point of view only, should be worth attending. A drawing-room has been arranged, and the supper-room has been nicely laid out, tbe catering of the sapper being in the hands of Mr O'Connell, of the Commercial Hotel, which is ■ guarantee tbat, subjeot to tbe limits of tht. committee's finanoe, the spread will ba an excellent one. The masio— that necessity adjunct to successful dancing— will bs supplied by looal mneioiaDS. Visitor! will find every convenience, and their wants will be carefully attended to. A oharge of Is will be made for admission to the gallery, as It is expected that larg* numbers will attend.
