THE EXHIBITION.
The longtalked-of exhibition in aid of the Hawera District Hospital will be opened, and promises to have a most successful result. Id the morning the prooession will take place, and a very imposing one it Ehonld be. It will start from CaledoDia-street, near the Borough Chambers, at 930 sharp. The order of procession will be as under : — Drum- Major. Manaia Brass Band. Mounted Rifles. Convent School and Tableaux, State School and Tableaux. Sash and Door Factory Tableaux. Banner. Hawera Brass Band. [ Large Fire Engine. Firemen. " Britannia." Small Firs Engine. "Darktown Brigade." The main stieets will be traversed, and the procession will then return to the hall, when the opening oerenaooy will take place. The " Exhibition Ode " will be snog by .a strong chorus, aided by an efficient orchestra. During the afternoon there will be tableaux, etc. ; and at 7 p.m. tbe procession will be formed again, and the same procedure as that of the morning will be gone through.
