BUILDINGS UNROOFED.

PATEA, March 2.

Three waterspouts were seen in the offing about a quarter to eight this morning. One struck the land near the south end of the town, and took a northeasterly oourse, doing considerable damage. It unroofed three houses and several sheds, tbe debris of one house being carried fully a quarter of a mile before falling.
