The Queensland Floods.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 1.
The Seiwyn County Council has decided that subscriptions collected by its members be converted into produce and goods for the Queensland sufferers.
At a meeting of the Executive, it was decided to expend £300 in the purchase of flour, oatmeal, and blankets, for transmission. Shipping space has been secured for 50 tonß of produce. The total amount of the subscriptions is £726.
NAPIER, February 28.
With the £250 already cabled, the cash subscriptions to the Queensland Relief Fund amount to £300, and a good many lists have yet to come in. FEILDING, February 28. The Mayor telegraphed £100 to the Queensland sufferers.
